I have recently unearthed a few things about my school, Brunswick High School, over the past two years I've attended the jail.
- Block scheduling makes kids crazy, and that is our school system's intentions.
- My Spanish teacher is psycho. Not kidding.
- They were being nice to me this year by giving me the same Lit. teacher I had last year. Yeah, right.
- Their goal is to makes kids overwhelmed with studying, and make us stressed out, therefore giving me Algebra 2, American Lit., and Chemistry all in the same semester. They want me to learn how to study, I guess.
- They hate free-thinking, which is exactly why I must dumb my papers down in some of my classes, or else I get bad grades.
- They're trying to TAKE OVER THE WORLD !

Eyes stitched shut,
Ears filled with the poison of the Lotus Eaters.
My hands aren't grasping the reality of what's happening,
Nor the thin air slicing through objects,
Filling up the empty spaces,
Separating people and objects.
His voice is the only sound I'm able to hear,
His face the only thing behind my heavily lidded eyes.
His voice blows smoothly along with the wind,
Entwining into my hair,
Around my body,
Inside my blood and veins,
Until it reaches that fragile, delicate organ:
My heart.
And his sweet, melodic voice shatters it
Every single time I hear him say
Her name.
